You can purchase previously rented movies at select boxes. At the Box – select Buy Movies on the main page. If you don’t see this option, then currently we don’t have movies for sale at that particular box.
If you don’t return the rental, you’ll be charged at the end of its maximum rental period. I rented something and wasn’t charged. How come? If you’ve rented from Redbox before, you’re probably used to being charged for your first rental day on the day after you rent.
If you keep an item through the maximum rental period, that item is yours to keep and Redbox will charge you the maximum charge for that item. The maximum charge varies depending on the type of item you are renting and the daily rental charge(s) for the item.
