Your MoviePass subscription gives you a set number of credits and, depending on the movie’s showtime, it will cost a certain number of credits to purchase a ticket. Matinees (any movie before 4 pm) generally cost 10 credits, while evening movies cost 15 credits on weekdays and 20 credits on weekends.

Plans start at $10/month for 1-3 movies per month, ranging up to $40/month for up to 30. The new MoviePass uses a credit-based system to offer different options for the total amount of films a subscriber can see each month (see plan details below).

MoviePass is the only movie theater subscription that lets you see any movie at any theater for one low price. How many movies can I see a month? You’ll be able to see anywhere from 3-30 movies a month based on your area and the plan you choose.

Their website lists three general pricing tiers that apply to most locations: $10, $20, and $30. Each level provides a certain number of credits that you can use toward movies each month. The number of tickets required for a particular movie depends on the time and day of the showing.

The $10 a month basic plan includes an estimated one to three movies per month, the $20 standard plan allows about three to seven flicks, the $30 premium plan includes about five to 11 films, and the $40 pro plan could be used to see 30 films a month. MoviePass offers four pricing tiers.

It’s official: MoviePass is back. Under the company’s new points-based system, you can pay $10 per month to watch one to three movies at any of the 4,000 participating theaters throughout the US.
