British Airways provides a complimentary bottle of water, tea, coffee, and a small snack on short-haul flights departing from London Heathrow and Gatwick airports. Additional food items can be pre-ordered or purchased during your flight (subject to limited stock).

All customers are permitted to carry one piece of hand luggage and one small item (handbag, laptop) on board. Hand luggage must not exceed 56cm x 45cm x 25cm and the small item must be no bigger than 40cm x 30cm x 15cm. Both items can weight up to 23kg each.

If you don’t pay to choose your seats in advance, we will allocate your seat at check-in, from 24 hours before your flight departs. You can pay to change your allocated seat. Executive Club and oneworld equivalent members cannot choose seats for free with this fare.

The error is only due to BA’s incapability to handle complex itineraries. So, if you have too many segments on your ticket, you cannot do the online check-in. This may affect those trying to do last-minute seat changes as they are only available at the time of checking in.
